
Dennis Yates
Dennis Yates (born 1963) is an American writer of novels and short stories. He is a native of Portland Oregon, and a fan of long road trips, engaging literature and independent films. He often dreams of the red canyons of the Southwest but is also an avid beach comber and rock collector. Dennis enjoys writing thrillers, but has recently published a humor novel involving a disgraced chef and two washed-up sumo wrestlers forced to take a trip across the United States. He is a huge fan of the authors Daniel Woodrell, Cormac McCarthy, Annie Proulx, William Gay, Frank Bill, Ian McEwan and many others.
